Yes, we have a covered area at the front of our building for you to enjoy. Just a friendly reminder, spring in Skagit Valley can be unpredictable—one minute it’s windy, wet, and wild, and the next, it’s warm and sunny! We always recommend boots.
Yes, we are! However, keep in mind that farmers rotate the tulip crops each year. To make sure you'll be surrounded by tulips, we recommend visiting the nearby Tulip Gardens.
The Tulip Festival is a month-long celebration, and the bloom time can vary each year. A few years ago, the weather was so chilly that we had daffodils and tulips blooming together! Typically, tulips bloom within a few weeks of each other, but timing can change. To stay updated, you can check out the handy bloom watch for the latest on the tulip fields.
Wear boots and layers. The fields can be very muddy. Bring reusable bags for all of your goodies. You will be able to buy cut Tulips, however Tulip bulbs will be pre-order only.
Our market in the Pea-Vinery is just one part of the larger Christianson’s Nursery campus, where there’s so much to explore in one stop. Visit Art in the School House, browse Primrose Gifts, or stroll through the nursery’s enchanting greenhouses—there’s magic around every corner! John and his amazing team continue to add to the charm every day. During your visit, you might also spot trumpeter swans and flocks of snow geese in the fields, tractors hard at work, and bursts of vibrant color in the landscape, all under the backdrop of breathtaking clouds. It’s truly an unforgettable part of the festival experience.
